Hi! My name is Krista, and I use she/her/elle pronouns. I am a bilingual Instructional Designer with over 15 years of teaching and educational development experience in K-12, post-secondary, and not-for-profit environments. 

I have seen firsthand how poorly designed training can greatly decrease engagement, impact self-esteem, and affect productivity (among countless other things). 

But it doesn't have to be that way! 

I emjoy turning complex topics into clear, fun, and accessible learning opportunities. I also love collaborating with a team to share ideas and learn new skills. 

When it comes to tech tools, I am most proficient in H5P, Rise 360, Pressbooks, Wordpress, Moodle, Docebo, D2L, Blackboard, Thinkific, Vyond, Snagit, Genially, and Camtasia - to name a few. That said, I learn new tech tools very easily, especially since new technologies are emerging every day!   

When I'm not working, I am either spending time with my two kids or reading a good book.
